I fully intend to put the winners in that box on the upper right for the first 7 tournaments. ^_^
Rules for this tournament:
- Characters will be selected by the blogger (Rafe F).
- Placement on the tournament set will be done at random.
- Before each match is posted, a location will be given. The location is not to be breached by the fighters during the time of the fight.
- No preparation time is permitted to the fighters.
- Should a character's main source of power be that of manipulating others (Armies, followers, etc.), then they can only access them from the location of the battle. If they have the ability to summon them, that can pass.
- Omniscience and omnipresence are omitted for the purpose of a fair fight.
- If a character has multiple time periods or situations, use them all to your advantage. This is to say, no limit as to which version of the character will be made formally before their first match, but once a character has won a match due to said version, they will carry on that version in the rest of the tournament. This will be ultimately decided by the blogger.
- Each battle begins exactly when it is posted. It will last precisely 48 hours from the time it is posted.
- Overturn chances will occur at the end of each full round. In other words, after the first 32 matches, there will be 48 hours for an overturn round. All overturn attempts must be posted in the overturn section.
- Rules subject to change at anytime.
- Good Luck!

ReplyDeletePlease post this in the character section.
ReplyDeleteAw, you start it up right as I'm a week away from being out in the middle of nowhere for three weeks. Oh well, I'll chime in when I can, but it sadly won't be often.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, this will be on going for quite a while. The first few matches will happen, but not even the first whole round will be done in 3 weeks. Also, you can catch up in the overturn time at the end of the round if you really want to!
ReplyDeleteOmnipresence and omniscience are prohibited for fairness but omnipotence isn't? Oookay.
ReplyDeleteOmnipotent characters will likely have their own tournament. Sure all powerful is crazy, but without being anywhere or knowing everything, they are scaled down enough for this tournament. I'm not going to pick Q again for this tournament for just such reason...
